Rise of Olympus 100 asks you to choose a god before its free spins begin. Hades, Poseidon or Zeus then steps in on every spin of the round that pays nothing. Play'n GO released the game on 10 November 2022 as the sequel to its 2018 Rise of Olympus, and the multiplier in this round climbs to 100x. The biggest win it allows is 15,000x the stake.

The free spins
Now, there’s no scatter to wait for here, because the rules sheet lists none. Wins that contain god symbols charge a meter of 3 sections instead, and a wild inside such a win counts as well. A god win of 3 symbols fills 1 section, 4 symbols fill 2 and 5 fill the whole meter at once. The meter is your only ticket in.
A full meter opens the Wrath of Olympus, a single bonus round that first resets the win multiplier. On every drop that brings no win a god uses his power, Hades first, Poseidon second and Zeus third, until all 3 have acted. If their powers leave the grid completely empty, you’re into the free spins. Otherwise the round ends and the god who stood beside the reels before it returns.
Before the first free spin you pick one of the brothers. Hades brings 4 spins, Poseidon 5 and Zeus 8. The multiplier from the Wrath round comes along and only resets when the feature ends, and it can grow as far as 100x. Play’n GO hangs the 100 in the name on that multiplier and on a round that can run to 100 spins.
From then on the god you chose acts on each free spin that ends without a win. The meter keeps charging, though it can’t open another Wrath round, and each full charge adds spins. Hades adds 4, Poseidon 3 and Zeus 2, up to the limit of 100 spins. Zeus gives you twice the start of Hades and half his top-ups. You trade a long start for a long tail.
An empty grid pays as well. Clear every symbol outside the Wrath round and the game pays 50x the stake, multiplied by whatever multiplier is showing. At 100x, one clear grid is worth 5,000x on its own. Each win brings that empty grid closer.
The three brothers
Play’n GO tells the story of 3 brothers who divided the realms between them after the reign of Cronus. Zeus took the sky, Poseidon the sea and Hades the underworld. The studio’s character notes call Poseidon the short-tempered brother and give Hades the three-headed dog Cerberus. The gods are also symbols, portraits in gold frames that pay the most after the wild.
The game’s art shows one brother at a time beside the reels, and he’s the active god. In Play’n GO’s official picture it’s Poseidon. He stands on a rock to the right of the grid with a gold trident and a spiked crown on his long brown hair. A teal haze behind him hides broken arches and columns. The lower symbols are a horned helmet, a lyre, a blue lightning disc and a green trident.
The active god is no ornament. On a spin that pays nothing his power can fire at random, and after each use the next brother takes over, always Hades, then Poseidon, then Zeus. Hades turns a whole set of symbols into another symbol, Poseidon places 1 or 2 wilds at random and Zeus lifts 2 sets off the grid. Each power is there to rescue a dead spin.
The same brothers ran Rise of Olympus in 2018, and Play’n GO’s copy says play on the reels largely follows it. The bonus is where they part ways. The 2018 game returns 96.50% and pays up to 5,000x, with a free spins round of at most 20 spins and a multiplier that stops at 20x. Here the round and the multiplier both reach 100, and the cap rises to 15,000x.
The grid
Rise of Olympus 100 plays on a 5 by 5 grid where every row and every column is active. A win takes 3 or more of the same symbol side by side, along a row or down a column. A symbol can count in more than one win at once. The symbols in a win are removed, and the rules only let the ones above them drop. Each new drop raises the win multiplier.
Clear away a win of exactly 3 symbols and a wild takes the middle square. Wilds stand in for every symbol, and apart from Poseidon’s power that’s the only way they reach the grid. Once only wilds remain, they go too, and the grid stands empty.
Play’n GO’s figure for the 96.20% version works out to 29.94% of spins that pay something. The other 70.06% pay nothing, and on those the active god may step in at random. The gods help, but they won’t rescue every spin you lose.
The numbers
Now, Play’n GO publishes 5 versions of Rise of Olympus 100. The default returns 96.20%, and the others return 94.20%, 91.20%, 87.20% and 84.20%. A casino runs one of them, and the version sets the percentage, never the stake or the night. Check the figure in the game’s rules before your first spin.
Play’n GO rates the volatility 8 on its own scale of 10 and calls that high. Stakes run from $0.20 to $100 a spin, and the cap of 15,000x comes to $3,000 at the lowest stake and $15,000 at $1. The rules sheet lists no bought bonus and no ante.
The release date in the game’s record is 10 November 2022. The figures for this game come from that record and the rules sheet, both read on 30 September 2026.
The Friday myth
The regulars were sure the casino tightened its machines for the Friday crowd and set them “loose” again for the quiet weekdays. I moved plenty of machines around a slot floor, and none of them ever knew what day it was. The percentage went wherever the machine went. The calendar never touched it.
Rise of Olympus 100 works the same way online. Whichever of the 5 versions a casino loads, nothing in the game reads the calendar or the clock. A Friday spin is settled exactly like a Tuesday one. The crowd changes, but the game doesn’t.
The score
Score: 8.0 out of 10. The 3 brothers earn half a point, since they reshape the grid on losing spins and run the free spins. The multiplier that keeps climbing to 100x earns another half, and the 15,000x cap one more. The 96.20% return sits between the 2 marks that move a score.
