Olympus Slots with Respins
A respin turns part of the grid again at no extra cost while the rest stays put. In Vikings Go To Olympus each respin is a fight with Poseidon.

The second turn
A respin gives part of the grid one more turn without a new stake. Something on the reels stays where it landed, a coin, a wild or a scatter, and the empty places turn again. Several Olympus games run the feature on a short count, often 3, that resets each time something new lands. It stops when the count runs out or the grid is full. You watch the held symbols, not the reels.
Now, a respin isn’t free money. Every respin is already inside the game’s published RTP, so the ordinary spins before it have paid for it. What a respin changes is where your return turns up. In Olympus Trueways and Olympus Unleashed the wins are counted at the end, and your balance moves once. The respin decides when, not how much.
The fights and the gods
On Olympus the respin is often a scene with a god in it. In Vikings Go To Olympus one scatter is enough to set off a Wild Fight Respin, a battle between the vikings and Poseidon on the reels. The vikings can turn into sticky wilds along the way, and 2 scatters give those wilds 2x. The intro screen sells the feature with a viking warrior, eyes glowing, above the word respin. Poseidon is the opponent here, not the help.
In Take Olympus Poseidon brings the respins himself. While he reigns for 10 spins his symbols raise a counter, and his turn ends in a God Event that pays out free respins. Rise of Olympus Origins gives all 3 brothers one respin together. Each win that mixes their symbols charges a 6-part meter. Once it’s full, the brothers share 1 respin and use their powers in turn. Clear the grid in it and you get 10 free spins. One respin can open the whole bonus.
Olympus 7s Dream Drop gives the job to Hermes. He runs his own respins in the mini slot on reel 4, and each new Hermes doubles the win, as far as 512x. A full round of the mini slots can also earn an Olympus Respin. The gods take turns there.
The respins that hold
Olympus Trueways runs the plainest hold-and-respin feature here. 6 or more coins start the Coin Respin, only coins fall after that, and every coin that lands stays put. The count of 3 goes back to 3 whenever a coin or a lightning bolt lands. A bolt splits a cell in 2 to make room, up to 48 places. Once scatters have charged the bolt Zeus holds, all 48 filled pays the Mega jackpot of 1,000x. In my book it’s the easiest feature here to follow. You can see everything that’s held.
Gates of Olympus Pachi holds its scatters instead. Land a scatter on the middle reel and that reel stays where it is, while the 2 beside it get another turn for every new scatter. Its mini game then collects free spins symbols worth 1 to 16, and they add up to the length of the round. Olympus Unleashed keeps the symbols that started its feature and spins every empty place for a wild, a blank, a Power-Up or another of the same kind. Whatever lands there sticks.
The goal on the mountain
Goals of Olympus BoltLock plays its match on top of Olympus, with Zeus and the other gods on the pitch. Wins in a row chip away the locked blocks, and each opened place adds ways, up to 3,125. Once the grid is open, special symbols add respins and raise a multiplier with no upper limit. Extra Lives keep the feature going. The respins are the whole bonus there.

Respins are described here from the studio’s own rules, and How the Reviews Work says what a review does when a studio leaves a figure out.
