The cartoon god

Pragmatic Play drew this Zeus for laughs. On the opening screen of the demo he has a cloud of white hair and beard, rosy cheeks and a wide smile, and he waves with a gold cuff on his wrist. A round colonnade in pink and violet cloud stands behind him. The logo’s red ribbon reads SUPER SCATTER.

The studio’s art for the game shows a crosser Zeus. He raises a fist inside a broken temple with lightning cracking from both hands, in a blue and white tunic with gold bracers. The opening screen marks the volatility low.

For all that lightning, Zeus has no job on the reels. Pragmatic Play’s page names him in its first line, but you won’t find him in the game’s rules. The gold symbols, the wilds, the multiplier and the super scatters all work without him. He’s only decoration in this game.

Gates of Olympus Super Scatter pays the same kind of instant prizes, also at 96.50% and on a grid that pays anywhere. Its prize for 4 Super Scatters is 50,000x, and for a single one 100x. Olympus Wins pays 100,000x and 50x.

The gold symbols

Wins count from the left-hand reel across neighbouring reels, up to 2,000 ways on 5 reels of 5 rows. A win clears away and fresh symbols fall into the gaps. The tumbling goes on until nothing pays.

On any spin, you can see ordinary symbols marked in gold land on reels 2, 3 and 4. A gold symbol that forms part of a win turns into a wild for the next tumble. Wilds only appear on those 3 middle reels.

Now, each tumble in the base game raises a multiplier on the wins it brings, first to 2x, then 3x, then 5x, and from the 4th tumble on it stays at 5x. It resets when the tumbles stop.

The free spins

3 scatters of either kind start 10 free spins, and each scatter past the third adds 2 more. Inside the round, 3 scatters give you another 10 spins plus 2 for every extra one. The super scatter stays out of the round.

Every symbol on reel 3 is gold during the free spins, so the middle reel can turn wild on any win you land. Wins open at 2x, and each tumble lifts the multiplier to 4x, 6x and then 10x for the rest of that spin. Each new free spin starts at 2x again.

The super scatters pay on the spin that triggers the round, as long as 3 or more scatters of any kind are showing. The prize is 50x the stake with 1 of them, 500x with 2, 5,000x with 3 and 100,000x with 4. At $0.20 a spin that’s $10, $100, $1,000 or $20,000.

Now, you can also buy the round for 100x the stake, $20 at $0.20 a spin or $100 at $1. The rules print 96.50% for the bought round and promise 3, 4 or 5 scatters on its trigger spin. There’s no ante in the demo’s settings, so your stake is the full price of each spin. A bought bonus changes the speed, never the percentage.

The figures

Pragmatic Play’s page gives Olympus Wins a return of 96.50%. The demo’s rules carried the same figure for both the game and the bought round when they were opened on 30 September 2026. You won’t find a second version.

The demo lets you stake from $0.20 up to $240. The cap of 100,000x pays $20,000 at the bottom stake and $100,000 on a $1 spin. None of the other Olympus games here goes higher.

The page carries the date 27 August 2025, and Pragmatic Play’s news section has no launch story for the game. It heads the game Olympus Wins and calls it Olympus Wins Super Scatter in its first line, as the logo does. It’s one game with 2 names.

The hot cabinet

Regulars fought over a cabinet that had just paid twice running. They called it “hot” and guarded the stool with a coat. I watched 2 of them argue over one stool while the machine beside it stood empty. Neither would play the cold one.

Olympus Wins does run hot, but only inside a single spin. The multiplier climbs from tumble to tumble and resets when they stop. The spin after any win you take is drawn on its own.

The score

Score: 7.5 out of 10. Zeus costs half a point, since the rules give him nothing to do. The 96.50% return wins that half back. The free spins earn another half for a gold reel 3, a multiplier that reaches 10x and retriggers worth 10 spins. The 100,000x cap adds a third.
