The gods in Cats of Olympuss are cats. Push Gaming's page calls them a pantheon of divine felines, and its launch post of 12 September 2024 describes them as cat versions of the Greek gods. The plainest of them stands on the stacked wild, a white-bearded orange cat with a paw raised. The rules cap one round at 13,195x the bet.

The cat pantheon
The title is set in chunky purple letters framed in gold, over pink and grey cloud. Neither the page nor the launch post names the cats one by one. The bearded cat stands on a cloud at the top of the stacked wild, above a marble plinth with a gold W. The pictures carry the theme on their own.
The 5x coin is bronze, the 10x coin silver and the 1,000x coin gold, with a Greek key round every rim. The bonus symbol is a drum of a marble column hung with grapes and vine leaves. The low symbols are card suits cut like gems, and a round fish sits beside them on the reels. You’ll even find cat ears on the gold coin.
Now, these cats don’t throw multipliers or call down a bonus. They work through the wild instead. In the free spins the stacked wild he stands on can carry 2x to 8x and stays put to the end of the round. In the base game it’s the wilds that turn a coin into money. The cats have a real job here.
Push Gaming came back to Olympus in May 2025 with Olympus Unleashed, where the gods are 3 armoured heroes. The newer game pays on up to 50 lines across 5 reels of 5, prints 96.32% and stops at 2,340x. Cats of Olympuss prints 96.31% and reaches 13,195x. The returns sit 0.01% apart. The caps sit 10,855x apart.
The ways and the coins
Cats of Olympuss plays on a 5 by 3 grid with up to 243 ways. A win needs the same symbol on neighbouring reels from reel 1 onwards, and only the longest combination of each symbol pays. Wilds land on reels 2, 3 and 4, stand in for everything except coins and scatters and add ways on the reel where they land.
The coins are the base game’s own idea. They land only on reels 1 and 5 and carry 1x, 2x, 5x and so on up to 1,000x the bet, 10 values in all. A coin pays only when wilds sit next to it in an unbroken run of at least 2 reels. A coin on reel 1 needs wilds on reels 2 and 3 at once. Without the wilds a coin is only a picture.
Scatters land on reels 2, 3 and 4 as well, and a Double Scatter counts as 2. 3 or more of them in the base game start the free spins. Their count sets the size of your round.
The card picks
The free spins open with cards, not spins. 3 scatters give 2 card picks, and each extra scatter adds a pick, up to 5 picks for 6 scatters. The first card sets the spins at 6, 7, 8 or 10. Every later card is an upgrade, a stacked wild for reel 2, 3 or 4 or the removal of a low symbol. Up to 4 low symbols can go.
The round runs on 4 reel sets of 5 by 3. 3 scatters open 1 set and 6 open all 4. The rest wait under chains and a padlock. Special coins land on reels 1 and 5 during the spins, and every 5 of them open the next set with fresh picks and more spins.
Now, the upgrades don’t reach every set equally. The first upgrade works on all 4 sets, the second on sets 2 to 4, the third on sets 3 and 4, and the fourth on set 4 alone. A stacked wild covers its whole reel, stays for the rest of the round and can carry 2x to 8x. 2 of them in one win multiply each other. The fourth set collects every upgrade you pick.
The bought bonus
Cats of Olympuss sells its free spins at 3 prices. 3 Bonus Symbols cost 60.3x the bet at a printed 96.24%, 4 Bonus Symbols cost 110x at 96.38%, and Random Bonus Symbols cost 109x at 96.39%. At $1 a spin that’s $60.30, $110 or $109, and at $0.10 it’s $6.03, $11 or $10.90. The price always follows your stake.
Those 3 returns sit between 0.07% under and 0.08% over the 96.31% of plain play. A bought bonus is the same game at a different speed. You pay to skip the wait, nothing more.
The Push Bet
The Push Bet is the game’s ante. It raises each spin by 20%, so $1 becomes $1.20, and the rules promise a better chance of the free spins in return. Wins are still paid on the $1 base, and the return drops to 96.26%. While it’s on, the bought bonus stays locked. You get the ante or the purchase, never both.
The figures
Push Gaming’s page lists 2 returns, 96.31% and 94.26%, and notes that the figure can vary by casino. The game info in the demo carried 96.31% on 1 October 2026, so you can see which version the demo runs. The page rates the volatility medium.
The rules cap a round at 13,195x the bet, which is $1,319.50 at $0.10 and $13,195 at $1. Mind you, the page also shows the highest observed win, 13,194x, just 1x short of the cap. The launch post is dated 12 September 2024. The demo takes stakes from $0.10 to $100 over 25 levels and opens at $0.50.
The small-stake myth
Regulars on the slot floor believed a smaller stake brought the feature sooner. A small bonus, the thinking went, was an easier one to land. I once watched a man move from the dollar machines to a 5-cent bank for exactly that reason. His features came no faster, only smaller.
On Cats of Olympuss the stake sets the size of every win and every price, and the odds stay put. A $0.10 spin and a $100 spin face the same scatter chance. Only the Push Bet moves that chance, and it charges 20% for it. No stake of yours ever does.
The score
Score: 8.0 out of 10. The cats earn half a point because the bearded one stands on the stacked wild, the symbol with the multipliers. The free spins earn another half for sets that keep opening and wilds that stay, and the 13,195x cap earns a third. The 96.31% sits between the marks, and nothing comes off for the second version, since the demo shows which one it runs.
