Gates of Olympus POP squeezes the Gates of Olympus idea onto an upright grid of 3 reels and 5 rows, where 5 or more matching symbols anywhere make a win. Pragmatic Play released it on 31 August 2026 as the first game of its POP series, with a miniature Zeus on the art. Its Burst jackpot pays 25,000x the stake.

The upright grid
The grid stands on its end, 3 reels wide and 5 rows tall, 15 positions in all. Symbols pay anywhere on it, and the rules count how many of one symbol are showing when the spin ends. 5 or 6 of a kind pay the lowest tier, 7 or 8 the middle one, and 9 or more the top. You need a third of the grid for a win.
Every win clears away, the symbols above it slide down, and new ones fall in to fill the holes. The rules set no limit on how often that can happen in one spin. You’re paid once the tumbling stops.
Multiplier symbols can land on any spin, and each one carries a random value somewhere between 2x and 1,000x. They stay on screen until the tumbling ends. Then their values are added together, and the whole win of that spin is multiplied by the total. Without a win, a multiplier pays nothing.
Now, the opening screen labels the volatility low, the bottom of Pragmatic Play’s 3 grades. The rules describe low volatility games as paying more often in smaller amounts. Most of what comes back arrives in small pieces. No other Gates of Olympus game here carries that label.
The miniature god
Pragmatic Play calls this Zeus miniature, and the opening screen draws him small and round. He sits on a gold throne topped with a blue gem, white-bearded and smiling, in a white robe with gold cuffs and gold on his shoulders. Coins, gems, gold urns and an open treasure chest lie heaped around his feet. He looks pleased with it all.
The throne stands on a round platform above purple cloud, between 2 marble columns with fire burning on top. Behind them a city of pink and white temples with gold domes rises out of golden cloud. Gold letters under the throne announce wins of up to 25,000x and multipliers of up to 1,000x. The logo crowns the word POP.
Zeus scowls under a laurel wreath in Pragmatic Play’s poster art, with a purple cape and lightning sparking from his open hand. This one looks ready for a fight.
For all that, the god has no part in the rules. The multipliers, the scatters and the super scatters arrive without him, and the rules never mention Zeus. Here he’s the picture and nothing more.
In Gates of Olympus, Pragmatic Play’s launch news has Zeus trigger the multipliers himself from the right side of the screen. The first game returns 96.50%, pays for 8 or more symbols on a grid of 6 by 5 and stops at 5,000x. POP shrinks the god and the grid and lifts the cap to 25,000x. It also takes away his job.
The free spins
3 scatters of either kind anywhere on the grid start 15 free spins. Inside the round, 2 scatters on one spin are enough for 5 extra spins, and scatters can land on all 3 reels. The round runs on its own special reels.
In the free spins, each multiplier that lands on a winning spin joins a running total. From then on, any win you land together with a fresh multiplier gets the whole total applied to it. A winning spin with no new multiplier gets no boost from it. The total never drops while the round lasts.
A round that runs long gives the total more time to grow. The extra spins matter for that reason.
The super scatters bring the jackpots, on the spin that triggers the free spins. With 3 scatters of any kind on the grid, 1 super scatter wins the 50x Snap jackpot, 2 win the 500x Spark jackpot and 3 win the 25,000x Burst jackpot. At $0.10 they’re worth $5, $50 and $2,500.
There’s no bought bonus and no ante in POP, so every spin costs the stake you set. The scatters are the only way in.
The figures
Now, Pragmatic Play publishes 2 returns for POP. Its page prints 96.54%, and the rules inside the demo showed 97.05% when the demo was opened on 30 September 2026. The gap between them is 0.51 points. The rules in the game show the figure for the version loaded there. Read them before you play.
Stakes in the demo go from $0.10 up to $250. The cap is 25,000x the stake, the same as the Burst jackpot, so a $1 spin can win you $25,000 at most. A round that hits the cap ends there.
A low rating and a 25,000x cap sit in the same game here. The rating describes ordinary spins, and the cap describes the rarest one. Don’t read either as a promise.
Pragmatic Play’s page for the game is dated 26 August 2026, and its launch news followed on 31 August 2026. The news calls POP the first game of a new POP series built for fast play, under a POP brand that Pragmatic Play had only just launched. It’s Gates of Olympus in a smaller frame.
The score
Score: 7.5 out of 10. The god costs half a point, since Zeus only decorates the screen. Both published returns clear 96.50% and win that half back. The running multiplier and the extra spins are worth another half, and the 25,000x cap adds one more. The 2 figures cost nothing, because the rules show which one is loaded.
