The gold armour

This Zeus wears gold plates on his shoulders, a purple stone at his collar and a gold belt set with another purple stone over a lilac robe. Gold guards cover his forearms and shins, and a lilac cape trails behind him. His eyes glow blue under a gold laurel wreath. One fist is clenched.

Behind him a white temple rises out of the clouds against a pink and violet sky. Flames burn on top of the marble columns at each side of the screen. White lightning crackles round the 2500 in the logo.

The grid sits on purple inside a gold frame. Green, blue and purple gems share it with gold rings set with pink stones, an hourglass on green and a gold crown on red. The scatter is a portrait of Zeus with the word scatter written beneath it.

Pragmatic Play’s page says Zeus returns to rule over the reels, but its rules don’t give the multipliers a sender. They land at random. His working part is that portrait, since 4 scatters or more open the free spins and 3 inside the round add 5 spins. The portrait pulls its weight.

Next to Gates of Olympus 1000, the gap is in who throws what. There the launch news has Zeus strike with his thunderbolt to award multipliers from 2x to 1,000x. The 1000 returns 96.50%, pays anywhere on a grid of the same size and caps a win at 15,000x. The news for 2500 only brings him back alongside multipliers of up to 2,500x. The god got bigger numbers and a smaller job.

The tumbles

Now, the grid runs 6 reels by 5 rows, and nothing pays along lines. You’re paid for any symbol once 8 or more of it sit anywhere on the screen at the end of a spin. The pay rises with the count, up to 12 or more. The symbols in a win disappear, the rest fall, and fresh symbols fill the gaps. There’s no limit on tumbles.

Multiplier symbols can drop onto every reel, on a spin or a tumble, during the base game and the free spins. Their values run from 2x to 2,500x, 19 steps in all. When the tumbling stops, the game sums every multiplier still on the screen, and the whole sequence’s win is multiplied by that sum. When a spin pays you nothing, the multipliers on it are worth nothing.

The bonus wheel

4 scatters or more open a round of 15 free spins, and 3 more scatters inside it bring 5 extra. Before the first free spin a wheel shows which of 4 round types you get. The rules call the wheel a graphic for entertainment, and the type is chosen at random.

Free Spins 1 and its super version count a multiplier only when it lands on a winning spin. Its value joins a total, and from then on the total multiplies any win in which a fresh multiplier lands. Free Spins 2 and its super version add every multiplier that lands to the total, win or no win. The total then multiplies every win until the round ends. In both super versions no multiplier lands below 10x.

The second type pays the total on every win. The first won’t use it without a fresh multiplier.

The special bets

Now, the game sells you 5 ways to raise the stake. The first ante costs 1.25x the base stake and doubles the chance of free spins. The second costs 2.75x and makes them 8 times more likely. The third costs 5.5x, keeps the same chance and tilts the wheel towards Super Free Spins 1, Free Spins 2 and Super Free Spins 2.

With the first Super Spin, which costs 20x the base stake, every spin is sure to carry a multiplier. The second, at 250x, promises at least one multiplier of 25x or more on each spin. You won’t see free spins trigger under either of them. With a $1 base stake, the 5 options come to $1.25, $2.75, $5.50, $20 and $250 a spin. The demo’s rules print 96.49% for the antes and 96.50% for the Super Spins.

The bought rounds

All 4 round types can be bought outright. Free Spins 1 costs 100x the stake, Free Spins 2 costs 250x, Super Free Spins 1 costs 500x and Super Free Spins 2 costs 1,250x. A $0.20 stake prices them at $20, $50, $100 and $250, and a $1 stake at $100, $250, $500 and $1,250. The demo’s rules give all 4 purchases 96.50%. No ante or Super Spin can run during a purchase. You buy time and a type, never a better return.

The numbers

Pragmatic Play’s page gives 96.51%. The rules inside the demo gave 96.52% for the plain game when they were read on 30 September 2026, 2 days after release. They print the version they load. The 2 figures sit 0.01 points apart.

The opening screen labels the volatility high. The maximum win is 25,000x the stake, which pays $5,000 to a $0.20 stake and $25,000 to a $1 stake, and a round that reaches it ends on the spot. The stake menu runs from $0.20 up to $240. Pragmatic Play’s release news is dated 28 September 2026.

The score

Score: 8.5 out of 10. Zeus adds 0.5 through the portrait that starts the free spins, though he doesn’t throw a thing. Both published returns clear 96.50% for another 0.5, and the Free Spins 2 total that works on every later win adds 0.5. The 25,000x cap brings the last 0.5, and the 2 figures cost nothing because the demo’s rules print the one they run.
